Yes, I did. Read every comment in the long thread. Gave me some ideas, but none of them panned out....

I have scoured this forum and have checked the following:
Caps - none visually burst or bulging
Solder - I've soldered the most common locations of cracked solder. All appears good
The main board and t-con both look good as well.
Cables all good, no bent pins, all plugged in tight.
Eliminated frame mounted controls - made no difference.
LEDs are all functioning.
Good picture with computer connected via HDMI.

This unit is turning on just fine. I can control it with the remote or the frame mounted controls. If it's left on, it will...

schloofy's the name and I'm strictly an amateur. With enough knowledge to burn down a house. Hasn't happened yet, but I'm insured in case. Great looking forum with lots of info and a friendly group of users.
