I have the exact same problem. Burnt chip on the input line. Did you ever manage to figure out what caused it? My is power cycling on this 3.3v rail after chip replacement. -
The HP usb bios recovery does work. Keep trying! I had the same problem with 2 different laptops. What ended up working was using a usb 2.0 drive (i don't know if this is the cause) and keep holding the windows and B keys for more than a minute.Maybe hold it for several minutes. Nothing happens on the screen. Then I came across this:
"If the HP BIOS Update screen is not displayed, press and release the power button, and then immediately press the Windows + b keys at the same time, repeatedly, until the computer beeps or opens the HP BIOS Update screen." I kept pressing... -
Teknisi Indonesia Signup Issues
Hi, I'm having a problem signing up for the forum Teknisi Indonesia. The captcha asks "what's the president of Indonesia" but it keeps saying captcha failed. From a google search I've tried Prabowo Subianto and Prabowo Subianto Djojohadikusumo and neither works. -
Changing the audio jack made no difference. Exact same issue as OP. This must be a firmware issue because mine makes the startup chime Everytime and the sound is perfect. Not muffled.Leave a comment:
