Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas about the source of the problem, but I experience the same symptons for another mainboard FPI50 LA-H329P Rev:2.0 which is also used in the HP-15-dw-xxxx and 250 G8 series. Didn't have time for measurements yet, but I am highly interested in additional findings and solutions.

Your problem does not seem to be hardware related, i.e. it's not a mal-functioning GPU, but you have an out-dated BIOS version without support for Windows 10. I have experienced the problem with artefacts you describe with this particular board multiple times, both for UMA and DIS. The HP BIOS update descriptions list explicitly that updates are required to support Windows 10. Try to resolder your coil and update the BIOS, and it should work fine.

Unfortunately, you have to remove, clear, and flash the BIOS chip with the appropriate image without the password....

Re: Hp Probook G2 640 MB: CIRCUS-6050A2723701-MB-A01
for CIRCUS-6050A2723701-MB-A02 (note the "2"), it's 100R, measured when soldered in. An on my board, the marking code of U2970 is 22A4.Re: Hp Probook G2 640 MB: CIRCUS-6050A2723701-MB-A01

Re: Toshiba Portege Z30-A - Burned Chip Identify
Hi kodox, chip marking code is ACCI, voltage at the 220 inductor is 5V (standby), and at 1R5 inductor, it's 1.35V when notebook is switched on.
However, my board code is FAUXSD3 A3669A, but I guess that shouldn't matter. Hope this helps....

Re: Hp Probook 650 G2 identification of the burnt component
Here is how it looks like for a functional board, SOT23-5 package, marking code is 22AI. Does someone know what component it is?...Last edited by Fraheeba; 02-03-2023, 09:09 AM.

Re: LENOVO L560 AILL1 / L2 LA-C421P Schematic Boardview?
Hi,
I don't have the boardview, but here's some info on PU501:
I have two of these mainboards, one has a strange code on it. Google-ing the other leads to a memory voltage buck controller G5616 which seems reasonable to me:
