Hi I have an old Teac CR-H100 hifi that has a leaking and worn out backup battery. I was looking for a suitable replacement component. Would something like this be ok:

Hi I am trying to repair an Optoma EH1020 projector.

There is a flat ribbon cable that connects the control panel on the top panel to the mainboard but someone has damaged the connector on the mainboard I assume by removing the panel without disconnecting the cable. The retaining clip is missing.

Does anyone know what type of connector this is? If I can find the same part can I replace the retaining clip?
