Ahhh - good to know. I may have spoken too soon - if I'm really close to the monitor, I can see flickering pixels/areas. The flickering is a definite pattern - vertical columns which repeat across the screen - very faint and only noticeable on certain colored backgrounds (can't see it on black background for instance).
Would replacing c80, c83 help the flicker problem?...
