  • Re: hp g62 mainboard repair help

Yes the i3 350m has a integrated gpu, and in case you want to help me I more than happy to convert this to uma. I did get a heatgun from my neighboors, the model is a suh2000, it has an analog wheel to regulate the power and 2 modes, 50-450c or 90-600c. I'm guessing leaving it on lvl 1 with the wheel at half should be 250, probably gonna try to see how much time it takes to melt sodder ona piece of copper. What do you suggest?

  • hp g62 mainboard repair help

Hello everyone, I have a hp g62 that won't boot and I'm suspecting that is the mainboard since a couple of times the external monito did turn but with artifacts. I came across some dude on youtube telling ppl to remove the coil next to the gpu to interrupt the mb from using it. Then I googled more and found this forum with competent people, therfore I'd like to ask you what I have to do on the motherboard in order to get it to work. I got some liquid flux and an analog soldering station with regulable temperature.

    More info about the laptop:
    hp g62-125sl
    i3 350m...
