  • Thank you very much! I flashed the bin and I get a : clearing pending image stage black screen, stuck doing nothing.Restarted finally got the cmos message, fake battery message...Then rebooted and black screen. At this point I think the ITE chip has also problems, but I do not have programer for that.Or maybe other hardware problems...

  • Laptop HP 17-cp0658ng bios clean request

Hello to everyone and have a good day!
I have this laptop from the title and has bios problem;not starting,no acces to bios, black screen.I am asking help from advanced users who know how to clean, replace info from dumped bin to downloaded bin,or maybe dumped bin can work only when cleaned. It is a ryzen 5 cpu inside. Also, there is an option to unlock advanced tab in ami bios settings?fck hp...only a few options available...
    Can someone take a look?
    Thanks in advance!...

  • So I did memtestst86 on mb.Enabled all cores in bios and fired up the test.Memtest recognized cpu with all 4 cores and reported 8 cpus (threads) and said using 4 of them for test so 2 cores. The test passed!to my surprise without cpu crashing.I saw temp on cpu rising on some test to 85°C despite the fan was set in bios to 100%before test.So the test ran with all cores enabled, still when trying to boot in windows,it works only with 1 core enabled.Next is to try a reflow.

  • Thank you very much for your answer! I will do a ram test and try to reflow the cpu, replacing is not worth I guess because of the price of the cpu you probably can buy another same unit used.

  • INTEL NUC 8i5BEB 8i5BEH -some cpu cores died?!?!

    Hello to everybody!
I am asking some experienced members opinion on the following problem. The NUC was working fine until new win 10 install and while doing some updates just freeze restarting on bios splash screen. At first I thought is a corrupted bios, took a dump with ch 341,and asked for help on winraid forum, got the bin cleaned...etc and rewritten on the chip, same situation, freeze booting at splash screen.Trying to install ubuntu server failed also but, freezing when ubuntu said "bringing all cores up" something like that...That got me thinking might be something wrong with the...

Yes you are right! Thank you very much!!!
I don't know how this marking turn into STI 9287 but yes this is it.Maybe you can tell me how you translated this.I have several boost ics eg: Fan 5331,LM 2731 but all have different marking that has no connection to the name of IC
    Anyway thanks very very much!

PS. Now I see that pin no.4 is Chip Enable Pin(EN/PWM)." Drive EN above 1.5V to turn on the part. Drive EN
below 0.4V to turn it off. Do not leave EN floating"...

  • Help to identify a boost converter IC

    Hello guys!
I am asking for help because I have an Bresser Biolux Touch 5mp microscope with an 4.3 inch tft that has no backlight.I have found that the boost ic that supposed to boost the 5v voltage for backlight is dead. The marking on the ic is : S87BaAA and is a SOT23 6 pin.I cannot find any result googling.I have replaced it with a generic boost converter and the device works, but backlight is always on,I need the datasheet of the original IC to find out how it works...I cannot find any schematics either.Maybe somebody has an idea...
    Thanks!

Yes,the last .bin written to the chip is from post 11 and was modified thanks to SMDFlea &rioreno;there´s no easy reset process(short a pin to ground solution),it's a de-solder-reflash-resolder back process using CH341A programmer with a 1.8v adapter!!!(or other programmer);Software Asprogrammer.Good luck!

Thank you for your help and time to look into this.Unfortunately no success after rewriting cleaned bin.Same screen.Maybe I did something wrong?I removed protection, erased chip, opened cleaned bin then rewrite it.
Strange is that I have not found a way to type the password, while the tab has some sort of keyboard that doesn't work and attaching a keyboard via usb doesn't work either.I have thought if no password required will directly boot into windows. At this point I have no clue how to sort this...Maybe some other people from the forum can come with some...

    Hello!
    Thank you for your answer!
I will try with as.The software version used is ch341a programmer 1.30 and is saying after reading "Chip Main Memory and buffer same!" as can be seen in picture.Does looks ok or? And yes you´re right,it´s 1.8v chip;before testing I´ve read the datasheet and chip is attached via 1.8v adapter.I will be back soon with the result from asprogrammer.
    Thanks once again!...
