Re: Issue with Westinghouse 19" LCD Monitor (large pics)
I've got kind of an interesting resolution on the search for the value of the zener diode ZD100 on ny power board. I never did find the schematic. However, there was an eBay seller in China selling the power board, stating that they were for the Westinghouse and some Viewsonic monitors. I emailed him asking which Viewsonic monitors. He said he didn't know. I then told him I had a broken diode and was hoping to locate the schematic via a model number. He actually checked with the factory there making them and told me it...

Re: Issue with Westinghouse 19" LCD Monitor (large pics)
After some discussions on another board, it appears that the prefix 'zd' stands for zener diode. We're guessing a 12 volt, 1 watt zener should do the trick.
I had emailed Delta Products about this board in hopes of getting a schematic and/or a parts list. I got back a fairly curt (snotty) reply basically telling me to take it up with Westinghouse. And we all know how they are....

Re: Issue with Westinghouse 19" LCD Monitor (large pics)
Another question about my DAC-19M015 power board.
On the solder side, to the right of the CE103 cap (1000uf, 25 vdc) (with the cap positioned to the top), there's a small black square labeled ZD100. It appears to be cracked.
Can anyone tell me what kind of component it might be, and the value?
Thanks
