I'm sorry I took so long, was away from home.
Please find herewith the pictures as requested by Diah(Thank you Diah).
I opened the front cover(right side), and found where the middle tab connects to the panel. it seems as if there is/was oxidation or wetness, all three tabs to the panel gets hot when switched on.
I presume it is a bad panel, can you please confirm.

Good day guys
I got this very nice TV from a friend. It has this vertical band on the right side when in front of it. I've read a lot of your threads, and it seems as if vertical bands are almost always panel failure or problems with the panel.
If I remove the Tabs going from the T-CON to the panel, the left side comes up white as it should, although if the right side is disconnected, the screen right side is faint white, and with some vertical lines too. Voltage at the T-CON fuse is 12,2V.

Thank you for your help in this regard. Sadly I already returned the "faulty" T-CON, but I should have tested it afterwards.

I don't exactly knows how this works or what happened. I installed the old T-CON again, switched on the TV and it came on with beautiful picture and sound.
1. The T-CON I ordered is faulty
2. The Problem was the BAL board

Hi guys
Thank you for your help. Like Davi.P mentioned I do have 12.51V on the load side of the T-CON fuse.
Davi.P I replaced the LD board first, then the T-CON and then the BAL board. So I hope I didn't carry the problem onto the new BAL board.
I will install the old T-CON again, and see what happens. I will also read up on the update procedure by USB

Please find herewith the photos as requested. When I looked for the T-CON, this set seems to use two different T-CON's a LJ94-0349E and/or a LJ94-03495E. I could get the LJ94-03494E, as depicted in the photos.
Budm, the pictures of the white-screen with the division in the middle is when I remove one of the T-Con to panel tabs, and the clean white is of the picture I get with all tabs connected. The pictures with the weird circles are probably a fault with my camera. In all the pictures the display...Leave a comment:

Hi guys
I got the above set from a friend with exact same symptoms as Tom.molyn described in another thread.
"The tv would power cycle initially.(no picture or sound)
I was able to get 3.3v on the standby voltage at all times.
The on power and high voltage would be on for the first 2 seconds inbetween "clicks"
I was able to keep the power from cycling when the T-con board was disconnected from the Inverter.
I replaced the LED Driver board as well as the T-CON. When I replaced the LED Driver board, symptoms were still... -

Hi guys,
I did replace the mainboard with a new board from SJ, but the result were the same.
The one that had picture, deteriorated while I was checking, cleaning the tabs etc. It now has exactly the same problems as the other. No picture, backlights, sound, no picture with flashlight, respond to remote. I can see no damage to anything, the tab bonds doesn't get hot, etc. I haven't taken of the side trim to get to the side bonds yet. I did inspect the bottom panel pcb, but no apparent problems, also nothing...Leave a comment:

If I remove the left tab going from the Mainboard to the Panel, the right half of the screen comes up white, and if I remove the right side tab, the right side of the screen comes on white too. That is what's weird about these TV's.
Also, I did replace the mainboard on one TV, but with same result.

I got two of these Samsung UN65NU6900 TV's from a restaurant group. One, when switched on come on with only black screen, backlights on, sound on, responds to remote, no image with flashlight. If I take of either of the two tabs going to the panel, in both cases the right side comes on white. The other TV when switched on, showed perfect picture, but with vertical bar about 6 inches wide on left side. It eventually worsened to same as above.

I did as you suggested. Please see attached pictures. I also now see the thin horizontal lines in the top half. I read somewhere that the D-series is notorious for bad panels. However, I was hoping this might be something else. Can this be a bad T-CON?

I installed the new T-CON and cable between Mainboard and T-CON. When dwitched on the TV comes on, but with this shadow picture on about top fifth of picture. I did clean the ribbon cables between the T-CON and panel.

I removed one of the tabs going to the panel, getting no display or picture. Same with other one. The voltages I took on T-Con was ground on Chassis and Red on both ends of the fuse.
I think I'll order a new T-CON from SJ and see what happens. Thank you so much for your help so far. Will keep you posted.Leave a comment:

I found another LVDS cable, although it is the same number on the cable, this one is slightly shorter. Probably out of another Samsung. When I connect this cable to the mainboard, the voltage on the end of the LVDS cable is 12.07V, but as soon as I connect it to the T-CON, the voltage drops to 0.87V. That is then also the voltage on the T-CON fuse. If I disconnect the two flat ribbon cables going to the panel, the reading still stays 0.87V. Do you think I have a bad T-CON?Leave a comment:
