Thanks. First time taking TV apart. Can't find thread with same problem. Hopeful. Not sure I could get to T-Con. The logo is clear for the half second it's on and snow seems bright and uniform so don't think it's the panel or backlight. Appreciate your help and time.Leave a comment:

Theoretical. I just don't know if main board went bad on its own or if something triggered it. Not sure if replacing all boards will fix TV.Leave a comment:

Samsung UN55KU6190FXZA. Powers on, Smarttv logo flashes, then black/white snow. No sound, no response to remote or on-set toggle so no access to menus for set-up. Repair kit is on the way. I'd like to troubleshoot parts one at a time but afraid an existing power board problem will damage new main board. Appreciate any input on original problem or repair procedure. Thanks. -
