Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver
Does it use the same adapter? I started having intermittent flickering (no vertical lines) about a month after the repair. The voltage from the adapter seemed ok, but I decided to replace the OEM with this one:

It's much smaller and runs much cooler. It might be worth trying... you can always send it back. Hope that helps.Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver...

Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver
Not sure why I didn't get a notice when this was posted, so you might not need it now, but I believe this is the board I bought...

Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver
Thanks for the info! I just tested it with a pick tool, and it appears this substance is MUCH softer than the glue on the original board. I can pretty easily push into the white substance, but the other glue is like hard plastic....

Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver
I got the board I ordered today and the monitor is working again. I was going to scrape off the glue, but I was wondering if the board I got might be an update from the original. The glue on this board is white, not brown.... is there a difference, or should I remove this glue as well?...

Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver
I was talking about removing the glue from the replacement board I'm getting. Someone in a previous post said the failure wasn't caused by a blown capacitor, but had something to do with the glue that was holding it to the board. You can see from the pic I put in my previous post that the current board is pretty much hosed... I tried cleaning it but the damage was actually into the board. I have no problem soldering, but I don't really have the tools to figure out what components are damaged, other than obvious...

Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver
I did find a few other suppliers on that same website that supposedly have the same board, so I'll probably try one of them before I truly give up. I'll most likely wait until the first purchase has been credited back, but I'll post an update here if I actually find a board.

Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver
I never got an email telling me there were replies to this thread, so I never came back. Ironically, this thread came up in a search. I am planning on buying the board from the link in the previous post. One question though, what's the problem with the glue and what's the best way to remove it? Just scrape it off or does it need to be heated?
I guess I can practice on the old board since it's trash anyway, but does the glue need to be replaced with something else or can the caps just sit freely?Last edited by jackyl; 12-20-2018, 01:46 PM.

Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver
Sorry, I'm a little out of my element when it come to this, so I'm not sure about the number of strips and leds/strip. It's an Auria EQ276W monitor (2560x1440) and the attached file shows the board and failed capacitor.
Thanks....

Re: Auria EQ276W - Looking for Replacement LED Driver
Were you ever able to either fix the original board or find a replacement? I have the same monitor with the same problem. The only difference is that the middle capacitor is the one that blew, but the damage to the board is similar to the pic you posted. Just wondering if you ever found a solution... I hate to trash the monitor but I can't find a board. Thanks....
