The files posted by these two members do not work, adobe reports there is a font problem and therefore does not display the file properly.

I do not get it. Why is everyone saying thanks to something that is wrong???? because the schematic that has been provided is for 820-00875 and NOT the 820-00840.

For those coming to this thread, the post with the boardview is wrong. It is not a boardview in the sense we have come to know what boardviews are which are those which show the component identification and layout. The boardview in that post is actually a breakdown of the actual pcb and it's individual pcb layers showing all the pcb tracks and solder pads. Backed up original bios, patched the bios ok, reflashed with patched bios, beeps everytime unit powered on. Reflashed back original bios, powered on but with supervisor password. Read the bios 5 times to make sure there was no corrupt bios. All 5 checksum ok. Patched all 5, same response, beeps when power on.
I searched the net and found 4 X395 bios, all had supervisor password
Did the same, made backup copies of the bios, patched them and again same thing, beeps when power...

HP's website has the full bios for this machine. The bios download also allows you to create a bios recovery USB pen. I know this because I have just done the same model of machine.Leave a comment:

If you want to lock and unlock MPM on some machines i suggest you goto this post

download Ver 2.13. Make a USB bootable pen drive. When you boot from the pen drive it automatically runs a program in UEFI mode that locks and unlocks the MPM.
I've used it on the following models that I've had repair:

HP Pavilion X360 13-u009na
