Thanks for the reply.
So, i´ve found this shop who is selling BIOS Chips for this laptop.
He actualy sells two kinds: the main BIOS as well as the EC BIOS.
Do i need to replace both of them or just the main BIOS?

Hi,

so i recently buyed this HP Probook off of a local type of Ebay here (in germany it´s called "ebay kleinanzeigen" in english "ebay small ad" or somethin like that).
It was a pretty nice deal, i thought, but as soon as i arrived with the machine at home and bootet it up to inspect the BIOS, it prompted for a password...
Since it was a local deal, cash for laptop, i can´t reach the seller anymore.

I´m in my mid 20s and i do study Cumputerscience in Germoney.
I try to keep my fingers off of the most soldering parts since i´m more the software type of engineer. However, i do have a quite nice collection of some parts and some projects.
