There is no visible damage on the old screen neither on lvds connector...

Hello i've posted before under some old thread but anyway i got new led screen for ux31 and it wont work even when i shine into it with a flashlight i don't see anything

the thing is when i was cleaning it with wet paper towel the little wet bit got inside of mini dp port and after an hour or so the display started to get strange white spots which then all of a sudden died on me... after that i was checking for problems with multi-meter and accidentally shorted the lvds display connector the sort created a bright spark..
