Asus A8V Deluxe 2.00 Recap
Hi people, i would recap this mobo, found in an old office system.
When i try it, the mobo don't want to take bios configuration and it don't find the sata disk plugged, if i enter in bios and i save the configuration, the mobo find the disk and all right. I put a new CR2032 battery and I flash the newest bios (i find a very early), the mobo don't want to find the disk after a shutdown, after hours of correct works. i must ctrl-alt-del to let the mobo find sata disk correctly.
I would try to recover it with a good recap.
The mobo have
20 x 820uF 6.3v FJ

Re: Help for repair Gigabyte GA-7VT600-1394
Ok PCBONEZ.
this motherboard have
4x 3300uF 6.3v Nichicon HM
3x 1500uF 6.3v Nichicon HM
2x 1200uF 6.3v Nichicon HM
10x 1000uF 6.3V Rubycon MBZ
This board would be used as ide hd recovery station, as before the atx plug melt.
I only want to be shure to put the right caps in each point.

Re: Help for repair Gigabyte GA-7VT600-1394
i leave the intention of recapping this boad for a while, but now i need absolutely to recap it. Rubycon MBZ/MCZ are over, ZL/ZLG are low ESR but not motherboard grade. Nichicon HZ seems good, what can i use. for this board at the best, with the best number of hour?

Hi people , i need help to disassembly this
http://www.battery-online.org/images/LITEON-PA-1650-02-2.jpg
because the cable is heavy degraded exactly at the psu side, then i need to open it to new solders for the cable.
I know it's made for no disassembly, i ask you what do you think i can disassembly it (a little saw, or a red-hot blade ? ) for doing a good job.
A new one its too much expensive for the problem i've with it.
Thanx.https://Hi people , i need help to d...02-2.jpg

The Cheapest but valid solder
I know that recapping motherboard or similar stuff needs good stuff, but for people who want learn/practice in recapping art, or people who needs to recap stuff 1-2 times in 3 years, a Weller solder may be too expensive.
What's the best choice at the very less money possible (firestarter-like too)?
I'm saying that, because later a training time, i'll buy a good solder station.

Recapping D-Link G624T
Hi people, i must recap this router, with
4 x 1000uF 25v Evercon E67A

Re: Help for repair Gigabyte GA-7VT600-1394
Really bad.
I asked to the official italian distributor, very friendly, because they don't sell to privates.
They told me that they don't have MBZ/MCZ no more, but they asked me what type and number i need because they would ask a sampling, Today they responded to me that Rubycon responded to them proposing ZLG.
At the moment italian distributor don't have ZLG too, and if i accept , they would order a sampling of ZLG only for me.
It's really BAD that someone in Rubycon proposet these caps to them.

Re: Help for repair Gigabyte GA-7VT600-1394
Hi people, i asked to italian rubycon distributor how can i obtain MBZ/MCZ cap series.
They reply me they contacted rubycon to ask a provision of both MBZ/MCZ of the type i asked :
1000uF 6.3
1200uF 6.3
1500uF 6.3
3300uF 6.3
Today the italian distributor tell me that Rubycon will outdate this series and Rubycon propose to them
6.3 ZLG M EFC
for all the values.
What do you think about this serie? After a search i discovered them not...

New Rubycon MBZ/MCZ 2010/2011 replacement
Hi people, looking on Rubycon website, here , no trace of MBZ/MCZ caps.
Rs Components, Farnell, Mauser, Digikey, have only this series.
What's the best MBZ/MCZ replacement?

Gigabyte GA-7N400 pro apparently dead
Hi people, i ask you opinions about this board.
Two years ago, it begins to run only cpu fan. I changed it , and only for curiosity, i tried to turn it on, but no life signal, cpu fan too. Apparently no caps is "poofed" . This is the caps list of this board:
22 x 1000uF 6.3v Nichicon HM(M)
3 x 3300uF 6.3v Rubycon MBZ
3 x 1000uF 16v 105° FJ
8x 100uF 10v GSC
3x 22uF 25v GSC
1x 10uF 50v GSC
1x 100uF 16v GSC
How can i test what's got wrong on this board? How can i test if mosfets or other are gone?
