Samsung model (Series 6) UN43NU6900FXZA. Turned it on this afternoon (After watching this morning) and there wasn't any picture or sound. Unplugged it for a short time and the sound came back but no picture. Used the flashlight test to check the backlight and there was a picture, just no backlight. This happened all of a sudden. This mainboard has all the components built in.

Nothing, just manufacturers name. Can you take a guess as to what the board coating is? Manufactured in the 80s.

I have some caps that I am having a hard time identifying. Can anyone assist me? Thank you for your expertise. it is a cylindrical cap about 8mm dia. with 3 lines of text top line is EP middle line is 47-16 then a line across and bottom line is V1

I have a Visio VO42L10A and When powered off the Visio symbol is orange. When I turn it on the light just goes off but the TV comes on. Not long ago I lost sound but turned the set off and back on again and the sound returned. It has done this a couple of times. Recently the TV turned off suddenly and it would not turn back on. The orange light was on and when I hit the power button it went out (AS USUAL) but there wasn't a backlight sound or picture. I left it unplugged for an hour or so then plugged it back in with the same results. I left it turned on and went to do some research on the problem....
