Thank you guys for tips i got the boardview i did look thru it i chased around my theory about the itc and found out that this resistor on the pin A/D_MAX_POWER is shorted to ground its just 0 ohm pull up ? and it leads to the ic it8995e.
Thats why i thinked its about the IC gonna look some more check the mosfets etc...

Asus X556UV motherboard
Hello everyone i would like to ask you opinion a bout this motherboard.
The guy who gave the laptop to me said it stoped working from nowhere when he was working on it and then no signs of life even with charger pluged in.
So i took a look at it and find out this whole (CPU (i think) power circuit is shorted to ground same on the other side of the chip.
I was thinking the main IC went poof since the notebook shows no signt of life no led nothing.
So my question is do you guys think its balls shorted under cpu or some mosfet
or the main... -

Phew guys i ordered new dc-in board and ntb works flawlesly i think that dc-in board pcb was shorting somewhere in the pcb or something like that.

So i just found out that if i measure from charger to conected dc-in board i get the 19v so in the end it rly might be the dc -in board somehow shorting ?

No atleast not on touch and i dont have thermal camera so i cant look ,but i wanna ask is it safe to asume that its the motherboard problem i am thinking about ordering motherboard and have this one for learning/spare parts etc...Leave a comment:

When i have DC board disconected from motherboard i can read 19v on that pin but if i plug the DC board into motherboard its 3.88v...Leave a comment:

On the 4 mosfet pins theres 0.5v and if i disconect charger it goes slowly down to 0.
Same with the pin on DC board.Leave a comment:

Well if i plug the dcin board to the motherboard and then take ground from dcin board shield or ground on motherboard it shows only 3.88v and on some places only 0.5v. So it might be dcin board?...Leave a comment:

I tryed to desolder the conector and pins and solder them back.
I can read voltages on it so the connector works ? also excuse my poor soldering skills
but the notebok still dead

Well it hums a little but i think nothing extraordinary.

Ah sorry i by pins i meant pins on DCIN board whitch is separate small piece.
I didnt read any ics yet i tryed to search for +5V and +19 but they reads 0.5-0.7v

Asus ROG G750JZ
Hi everyone i got a G750JZ whitch looks like dead no leds when charger pluged in not powering up.
So i took multimeter and checked the power supply whitch reads 19.65V on inerwall and 18.36V on center stick.
When power buttor is pressed nothing happens power supply is not shorted stays green.
So i thinked its bad dc in board i pluged it in separately but i can read voltage on pins its 16.75V
Then i pluged it back into motherboard read the pins again and its 3.75V ?
I would like to ask professionals on site what the problem... -
