Re: LG 60pz950 died a slow death
thanks both, I took the board to work and gave it to an electrical engineer, most of the gates on the board are blown! I'll have to get a new board.
thanks again for the replies.

Re: LG 60pz950 died a slow death
Thanks tvtimmy,
I've opened the TV and found that the YSUS has a bad fuse. Changing the fuse is fine, but shouldnt I worry about why the fuse blew in the first place?
with the YSUS out, should the screen do anything if I power on the TV? at least with the YSUS out, the bzzzzzz noise is gone! lolLast edited by 701h; 08-22-2018, 07:02 AM.

LG 60pz950 died a slow death
Hi guru's,
My 60pz950 died this morning, please could you help me diagnose which board I need to replace. I have not opened the TV yet, I plan to do that tonight, but here is the run down.
A week or so ago, the TV started going blank after a few seconds or minutes of use, the "off" LED did not light up, just the screen went blank. If I turned the TV off (so the "off" LED is lit up), and then back on again, the TV continues to work for another random time period. If I continue the off/on/off/on cycle for a while, the TV would stay on, and work fine...
