Dear all, I own a Lenovo Thinkpad L560 that suffered water damage. I cleaned the laptop completely and replaced the defective motherboard. Besides that, the keyboard was malfunctioning and the display cable to the LCD so I ordered new ones and replaced both.
Now the strange part... When I plug in the AC adaptor, the power button LED turns green immediately. This is not normal behaviour. The red LED in the Thinkpad logo on the lid turns red (this is normal because the laptop is charging).
When I push the power button, nothing happens. The laptop boots in the end, but...
