Re: HELP, Sceptre x22wg LCD, No Power !!!
Going to check out youtube, and continue to read the DMM guides... Def hit some sparks while testing the board. lol... Been on Several forums (from building my eyefinity setup, to Rooting my Evo), but none have been this snooty... Its sad when help comes at this price, guess I will probably scrap the whole thing and buy a new....
Thanks again...

Re: HELP, Sceptre x22wg LCD, No Power !!!
Please note that just because someone is new to something, does not mean they are a "Mental Midget" in the rest of life... I have read, and re-read many of the settings sections in my manual, But as I am new to this, it does not make much sense yet... I do thanks you for your patience, and help, but there is no reason for the snide/condescending stabs...
I re-tested F110, with the settings change, and it reads 0.9 Ohm, so I think it is o.k. (I am guessing that is low, as I am unsure the scale)......

Re: HELP, Sceptre x22wg LCD, No Power !!!
W,
I attached a pic of the DMM I am using, and I am using it AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE. I turned U310 to the sides, and found it to be in perfect condition other then the small imperfection (melting) on the top... I also found that it has 3 prongs going into the motherboard, so I tested the following combination's from the underside of the PSU Mobo, and have found the following:
2 Outside Prongs show -8, or -9
The Middle and Right Prongs show -10
The Middle and Left Prongs...

HELP, Sceptre x22wg LCD, No Power !!!
It just stopped turning on the other day (no anything when pushing the buttons), From what I do know (very little, lol), it seems to ONLY be the power... SO, I figured if I replaced the whole piece (#4) it would work again... BUT, I am ALL ears/eyes, and would LOVE to know how to "fix" it, especially because I HATE throwing things out, AND Buying new ones... I can take a couple pictures of P.S. if that would help Identify any possible problems... Let me know, and Thanks for the help...
ALL the caps look O.K. to me, Should I replace them anyway? Do you see anything??? ...

I will post a few picks in case anyone see's something right off the bat... Should I just do the caps anyway because it is cheap, or hold off? Any help is appreciated, I have a digital multimeter, a Soldering gun, etc, SO my resources are limited, but I have a couple things... HELP PLEASE !!!!

Re: Sceptre x22wg-Gamer 22" LCD
I don't think so?? Sorry, but not too sure what I am looking at in #5 (Bad Fuses???)... How would I be able to tell? It just stopped turning on the other day (no anything when pushing the buttons), From what I do know (very little, lol), it seems to ONLY be the power... SO, I figured if I replaced the whole piece (#4) it would work again... BUT, I am ALL ears/eyes, and would LOVE to know how to "fix" it, especially because I HATE throwing things out, AND Buying new ones... I can take a couple pictures of P.S. if that would help Identify...

Re: Sceptre x22wg-Gamer 22" LCD
Hey,
Do you know where, or how I would order a new power supply for this monitor... Mine went out, and I don't know what would work in its place, or if I should just scrap it... Picture 4 of 6 is the "EXACT" piece I need to replace....
