Hey I have an Acer laptop that seems to have BIOS password since factory (my grandfathers, he's tech illiterate he'd never be in bios..) and I found more such cases searching the web for bios password unlock trouble.
the usual "enter any pass 3 times then use the on screen code to reset it with online tool" doesn't work, after 3 attempts it just locks up the bios on blank black screen.

I have made dumps (verified after reading, as in read twice and it was identical). it seems to be insyde bios. if anyone can figure anything out I'd be super thankful....
