hello. model 32mf231D/37 motherboard 3138-158-66721 I have just recently replaced my motherboard after six years of use my L5973D chip finally went.
And now I'm up and running again but noticed that my power supply is making a slight whining noise on start up it lasts about 8 min. and then quieted down just wandered if anyone else has experienced this problem and what they did to fix it.

I do know that 'over time' transformers have the tendency to make noise.
