LG 50PA6500 won't turn on, clicking noise, replaced cap and still nothing
Hello,
As the title says, I was watching TV and it randomly turned itself off. I turned it back on, it went out 10 seconds later. I turned it back on, head a loud pop/crack and picture went out.
I tried turning it back on and I hear the click and the slight buzz like it is about to show a picture, but then nothing will happen.
I did some reading here on multiple threads about this TV, and saw a lot of people replacing a thin-film cap on the power? board (the one in the middle of the TV) but that did not help the problem.
I am trying to...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello! 29yo tinkerer here, love to fix things, build computers, fix old audio equipment etc.
Came here because my LG plasma recently went out and the cap that I saw many people here posting about did not fix my issueso coming to try to diagnose the problem further to see if it is worth fixing.
Thanks!
