It's a customer's laptop, and it's not stolen. And yes, the bios should be 64 MB, but the dump was only 8 MB. I'm not sure if this was due to the IC being 1.8v and my programmer being 3.3v. I did a manual read and save using NeoProgrammer as the IC couldn't be detected automatically by any of my software. I used the ch341a programmer which I have been told isn't great for newer ICs. I have a better programmer ordered the TL866II Plus. Is it possible to flash the IC with a clean bios bin? I have been on holiday hence the delay in replying. Thanks...

This adaptor in your picture won't work correctly as its not for QFN type chips. Its for ICs with legs, the ground pin on the bios IC is too big and shorts the connection. I have ordered one of these in the picture for anyone else who needs help on this subject. Its called a WSON8 To DIP8 Programmer Adapter Board QFN8/DFN8. Thanks for everyone's helpThis adaptor in your picture won't work correctly as its not for QFN type...

CH341A bios chip wont fit 1.8v adaptor holder
Hi guys, I need a bit of help. I use a CH341A programmer, which is fine for 3.3v old-style bios chips. I need to reprogram some 1.8v chips, which are QFN type chips. I have the 1.8v adaptor for that slots onto the programmer, which does step the voltage down to 1.8v, but as you can see in the picture added, it doesn't fit in the IC holder.
Please see the 4th picture that shows what looks like what should work for the QFN IC (highlighted in red). The issue is that the 8 pads on the programmer are too long and short out the IC. Is it a case of putting kapton tape over the center ground...4 Photos

Hi, I need a Dell Latitude 7450 2024 13th Gen bios bin to flash to an existing Winbond IC. I can't find one anywhere. I have saved the current bios .bin but it's passworded. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
