hi im new here and also want to share something about hp dv2000.. a week ago a customer called me up to see his laptop (hp pavillion dv2000)when i turned the power on and the problem is no video display.. i search everything in the net & most cases of the hp is the same as id got.. luckily i found solution that is to replaced the cmos battery because it failed to produce specified voltage (it should be 3v) then also part of the solution is to update the bios ...i did and up to now the laptop is still running fine
