Thanks for the guidance. I have followed the steps and created a clean BIN but now the laptop turns on the off repeatedly. I have tried a few time but always the same result. With the original BIN it stays on but no fan spin. I must have done something wrong....

Ok. I have tried again and realised that when I try to detect chip it says no chip found. The backup I thought I had made is useless.... The chip is XMC 25QH256CXIQ and the programmer is CH341A Pro with WSON8 adaptor. Thanks again for your help and patience.
