Had a hell of a job desoldering the part. Managed to remove the solder from two legs but had to drill the others. Amazed I didn't damage the board.
Put It all back together and sound was perfect but picture was distorted and green. Removed the back and pressed on all the connectors around the main board, (even though they were all pushed In as far as they could go), and now the picture Is perfect - strange!

Only just noticed your reply. Good Idea.
After lots of searching on ebay I found the main av board for an LG 37LG5010. It only cost £6 posted, and has the exact same part
