Have repaired about 4 burnt resistors units. None have had fans running. Bought new unopened 66bt.It's fans not running. Traced 12v+ line of fan back to 47ohm-66ohm b647 have 32 Vdc on emitter and base and nothing on collector which appears to feed the 12vdc to the fan?
Any suggestions?

May be a day late and a dollar short but I took a pta66bt-A good working and either pulled and tested every active component made pictures took voltage readings dl data sheets.I used these findings and am in process of repairing same model unit with blown 180 ohm 1 watt resistor.

Every d716/2SD716(30-35 watt)(2SD718)(35-40 watt) checks good Collector( pin 2)(base pin 1)(emmiter pin 3) and c-b is .55 ,c-e reads OL(infinity or open) b-e OL using black lead(reference) on Fluke 77 diode check. Voltage on 7805(input...

One of the connectors on the red/black string didn't seat correctly. Now I have all backlights on.CN202 has 202vdc on red and 101vdc on white.CN203 has 101 on the red and 0 on the black. I was very careful removing the screen both times and used suction cups but now I think my screen is screwed. I have all the correct voltages from the PS to the main board and have swapped out PS, main and Tcon and get a display that is whacked. See .jpg. Is this a whacked screen?...

Well second LE55A69A bit the black screen bullet.(no backlight) ordered a SID GJ2C tester.
Broke down the TV and found 1 short side(side with power connector) strip no leds lighting up. Replaced all strips and tested at the power connector of each individual strip. All good. Re assembled TV. Still no back lights. Checked CN202 Red=271vDC White=190VDc
CN203 Red=190vDC Black=0.Inject 325vDC from tester to CN202, Red lead to red wire, black lead to white. 325 drops to 88.8 and get light. Inject same to CN203 325vDC no change no light....

Does anyone know what the correct voltages are at the diodes DH7 and DH8? I get about 257Vdc with and without the backlight leads connected. Also get 257VDC at CN202 and 0 at CN203.Same model TV, Black screen. Meter reads correct(Fluke DVM) and has new leads. All voltages from the control board are correct to the PSB.
