I have a very similar situation, I can open a separate thread but I thought it's too much similar.
Let me explain:
[LIST][*]I need to flash W25Q64FW on the motherboard of a chromebook[*]I have already unplugged the battery[*]I plan to use a TXB0108 to bring voltage from 3.3V to 1.8V[*]I will also use a CH341A, black version[/LIST]

Ideally I would do this on Linux, but I am already planning to use Windows to reduce complexity (as that is anyway the most used way and I should encounter less issues).
