    Thanks for the interest. Having got the depth gauge, 2 x raspberry Pi, a disabled buggy and the missus birthday out of the way, I can return to the inlaws TV. I've had another poke around but not turned anything else up. The attached photos are all the pcbs and the t-con board. Any help is much appreciated and if greater detail is needed, just shout. Ta....

    Thanks for your input. There are some video signals around but without a circuit diagram it's impossible to know what I'm looking at. Is there a circuit designation for the fuse or can you be a little more specific about its location?...

    There is NOTHING visible on the screen. Is there any way that the video can be 'directed' to vga / scart / hdmi?...

    Hello all - I'm a new to this forum so please be gentle.
    My problem is a Toshiba 24D1333B2 with Vestel psu 17ips61-3 & motherboard 17MB95S-1
    This TV died with the red/green flashing light problem reported elsewhere on this forum. I replaced all the diodes and, as a precaution, also the smoothing capacitors. My 'scope shows the supplies as smooth but slightly lower than nominal. Powered it up and still had the flashing light. Downloaded the firmware files (mb90_en.bin, mboot.bin, usb_auto_update_A1.txt) and installed them but now, no picture. The set responds to the remote, turning...

    Hello peeps. I'm a UK national but spend a lot of time in foreign parts - mainly Greece where I repair various bits of kit for (mostly) the expat community. I'm a retired electronics engineer who's been involved professionally in everything from radar to computers. These days it tends to be programming stuff but the soldering iron is never far away... :-)
