Hi All,

Happy New Year and all the best for 2022.

I like to fix things in my spare time reducing land fill and saving myself a few bucks in the process, I studied Electrical Engineering at college many moons ago. I am trying to teach myself component level motherboard repair skills on laptops and other electronics goods. So far not doing so well, I am hoping that use guys at Badcap's can make my learning curve less painful.

I have just checked the attached dump (NCWxx111.Zip) against the official download from Acer (BIOS_Acer_1.11_A_A) file NCWxx111.FD, the 2 dumps looks exactly the same. Can you use the official .FD dump with a Tl866 programmer to flash the bios.
