• Re: Motherboard power phasing?

Are these "R47" components VRM inductors and if so would this be considered an 8 phase? If this is correct how are they different from the green and copper coils of the above example?

    Re: Bad Cap

Thanks for the tip!!! I can't believe I missed the PSA series...I can get 11 of them for just $0.57 a piece! What a bargin! My only concern is that they are 3.5mm taller than OEM so my HSF selection might be an issue.

Agreed...if you notice that cap is directly inline with the center of the CPU, my theory is that this was caused by a screw or bolt from an HSF mount....

    Bad Cap

Hello everyone, my name is Jeremy and I've been hangin out here for the past few day just taking it all in. I just can't believe these little caps have caused such havock in modern electronics, quite interesting though. Although my problem is not of the same nature this site covers I'm hopeful you gentalmen will have some words of wisdom to offer up.

    So heres my problem...

This is a P5N32-SLI Deluxe I just puchased on ebay, it is a factory refurb RMA from ASUS and came with no warranty of any kind. I have not fired it up yet as I do...
