Re: Jensen Model Awm960
I went and checked that trace. It is good. I even put solder over it to join the trace back together....

Re: Jensen Model Awm960
I have went back and checked and yes I do have 12 Volts on those wires. It quit working when my brother had the radio in his camper. He sold the camper to my son. My son gave the radio to his sister-in-law to see what she could do with it. She cleaned the board and gave it back to him and it worked one day and then it quit again. It done the same thing....

Re: Jensen Model Awm960
Can anyone give me some advice as to why no power to buttons or no power to the radio. I have tried to get the schematics for it but they won't release them.In the first pic., top right. I have 12 volts up to that point. Maybe someone can tell me what to check next...Thanks

Re: Jensen Model Awm960
Correction, that is the clock showing am. So the radio part is dead completely. But still cannot change the time with the buttons. No buttons at all work on it....

Re: Jensen Model Awm960
Here are some more pics. When I turn the radio on it will light up and shows clock and AM frequency but none of the buttons will work. It will not turn off or nothing. So maybe somebody can help me figure it out. I am going to put the chokes back in and do some more checking...Thanks....

Re: Jensen Model Awm960
OK, I did not get a response on that one. So I pulled the resistors and on the big one I am getting 7.9 ohms and on the little one I get 3.2 ohms. Now I am trying to check the color codes to see if that is within tolerance. But it is hard to tell the colors. Can any one else please give me a input!

Jensen Model Awm960
I am trying to trouble shoot this radio. When it is hooked up, the display comes on but the power and any of the other buttons will not work. Broke it down and found the ribbon cable looks like it might have gotten hot. Can anyone verify these two resisters are bad before I pull them? They look like they are toasted to me....Last edited by outlawz; 07-18-2013, 09:54 AM.

Re: Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q701
No I do not want someone to FIND me a shop or FIND the component on the website for me. I wanted someone with more knowledge than me or YOU on buying usb ports. Like I said I found the one that sits on top of the board, but I cannot find the one that sits half and half on the end of the board....

Re: Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q701
Just a quick question? I got no response on this thread. I ordered 2 usb ports that I thought was the right one. One was right and the other was not. Am I not asking the right question or am I posting in the wrong thread or no one can answer my question? Just curious as to why I can not get a reply! I know I tried to get a answer on a monitor that I was trying to recap awhile back, I got maybe one response and that was it. I figured that one out myself and fixed it. All I want to know, am I not posting right or what??

I am wanting to replace these two USB ports because they are broken on my laptop. I am having a hard time Identifying them with digikey to order the replacement. They are two different kinds. I was wondering if I might could get some help from any of you..Thanks...

Re: Samsung smt-190dn security monitor
Well after a week waiting on my capacitors to come in, I got my security monitor fixed. I replaced all the capacitors in it and it's working great. But gotta give a lot of thanks to this great site because I done a lot of research on here before I decided to do the job.

Samsung smt-190dn security monitor
I am somewhat new here. But I have a problem with this board. The two yellow capacitors I am not really understanding. Are they the same type capacitors as the black ones or are they different? Another thing , is there a place to buy a kit for this board or should I order them individual? I unplugged my monitor to clean behind desk and when I plugged it back in, it would start to come on and then shut off and this is what I found....Last edited by outlawz; 05-08-2013, 03:33 PM.
