Re: TV won't turn on high pitched noise from power supply board
Yes, it is they called "intelligence sensor", but why the sound is coming out from there?
Actually, it's a smaller panel for mainboard, but yeah, it is suppose to be smth about current insufficiency.
Is there any way to be sure whichever is the source of the issue?
@budm Its model: LG 47LX6900

Re: TV won't turn on high pitched noise from power supply board
Here are some pictures of the chassis and board layout.
Weird thing is, the sound not coming from Ps but this little board at left edge corner of the chassis, it stands at the back of the remote sensor and intelligent sensor. You can also see it in the pictures.
Do they make sense?
@freakaftr8 Thank you very much by the way man. I appreciate your interest....

Re: TV won't turn on high pitched noise from power supply board
No, there is no problem with screen, operating system or auido. Only this annoying signal kind of noise.
Actually, i don't know if there's any section of the mainboard requiring more or less voltage. New board is slightly different then previous one. It has some extra pins, yet it's fine without plug them.
I should check it with voltameter, right? in order to figure out which parts hightened up its voltage requirements..
I wonder, even if i spot them, will there be...

Re: TV won't turn on high pitched noise from power supply board
@freakaftr8 Yes, tv works fine.
It is kind of silly actually;
I replaced my LG 47 inch LX6900's mainboard with a mainboard from same model's 55 inch (don't ask why)
It works perfectly fine except that noise.
And yes, most probably it causes voltage shortage to PS cause it thinks it feeding a 55" screen.
But i don't know what can i do to fix it since it's not about capacitor malfunction.
I mean, is there any way to decrease mainboard's power consumption, or should...
