HI!
Could you share what was the fault that you finally found in your equipment?
I have the other model, the 11BK, that does exactly the same thing you mention, I almost think it is the ITE but I don't know exactly how to corroborate that error.
Thanks for the contribution...

THKS! It worked, at least now it lets me change the settings, but:- It doesn't recognize any ports β USB, HDD, M.2
- One of the fans doesn't turn on
The issue with the ports is strange because they work with the other one, but I have a question: if I use this BIOS you helped me with to update through EzBios, would there be any problem?

Hello! Could someone help me?
I bought an Asus D3500Q with a damaged battery connector. I repaired it, and that part is fine now, but when I turn it on, half of the BIOS is inaccessible (I can't change the settings).
I tried updating it using the machine's own EZBios, but when I select the BIOS file (downloaded from Asus), it says it's not an acceptable BIOS.
I read the chip, and it reads fine. I've tried some BIOS files shared in this same post, but I haven't been able to make them work. I replaced the chip with a new oneβ with the original bios, it still does...Leave a comment:

Asus GL553V: Is the CPU dead, or is there something else I can do?
Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. I have an Asus GL553V laptop in my hands. It came to me because the laptop would turn off shortly after being powered on. Upon physical inspection, I found some damaged power regulators.
The SIC631 that powers the CPU had issues. One of them was physically damaged, and another one had continuity to ground at the output (0.1 Ohms). To avoid further problems, I replaced three of them. (U8001 had physical damage at the input, U8002 seemed fine, U8003 had continuity to ground at the output).
The issue was partially resolved; I can... -
Does anyone have the BIOS of this machine? AAM00 LA-C361P Rev 1.0 (a00)
Today a colleague asked me for help because he was "repairing" his laptop because it wouldn't turn on (it wouldn't turn on because it had some short capacitors and well that's another story). He confessed to me that he was following some tutorials and started to move to three integrated that brings this machine thinking it was the bios.
- IC1 (Bios): MX25L12873F
- IC2 : 25Q80DVSIG
-IC3 : 25Q32
The truth is that I don't know what he did to them but the laptop actually turns...Last edited by wamo; 01-03-2024, 02:02 PM.Leave a comment:

Hello, the Hisense TVs have a reset button for the system. Disconnect it from the power outlet, press the button, and while keeping it pressed, reconnect it to the power outlet. If it starts up on its own, that resets the system.
However, I have been experiencing several issues with them, and the most common problem is that the EMMC memory gets damaged and needs to be replaced... which is a problem because the systems are not easy to find π₯π

HI!
I once had a Mackbook air with a similar problem, but it was the screen and bus
When you turned it on, the screen looked bad, when you connected the charger it "fixed" but what happened is that when you moved the computer to connect the charger the screen "accommodated" and began to work well, until you wanted to adjust it and the image was lost again. On that occasion it was the screen and the video bus.
Doesn't it work if you try to move or adjust the screen? isn't there a point where it looks better?

Happy New Year to all. I hope this new year is full of growth and great achievements.
Sorry we shut down for a couple of days for the holidays, so I couldn't move the machine but very early today I started doing the test you told me to do.
At first the computer would shut down, but that was because the "What to do when you press the shutdown button" setting was configured that way, it would start the process of closing windows and shutting down, let me turn it back on, but if more than 4 minutes passed, it would shut down like it did at the beginning.

Well, I changed all the thermal pads (again) the thermal paste and did the test... 4:05 minutes later it turned off
I put a 110 fan pointed directly to the heatsink area and checked with the thermal camera that happened, the coil got hot (less) reached 29Β°C but after 4:00 minutes, it turned off again.
Another ram, same thing
At this point I doubt very much if it's heat, I'm leaning towards it being the video integrated.ππ
It is an Nvidia GTX1060 (N17E-G1-A1) and a Core I7 processor.

I've found that...Leave a comment:

Hi!
I took these measurements as you indicated, I leave you the photo with all the measurements....β
The strange thing is that, if you turn it on it works 4 minutes always. At first they thought it was because of heat but the working time does not decrease. It is always around 4 minutes... 4:10....4:05... it turns off, you can turn it back on and it lasts the same amount of time again, even when is on Bios.... That's why I'm out of ideas...
I haven't heard that "some lock on the logic board", is there any way to verify it or what do you mean?...Last edited by wamo; 12-27-2023, 12:22 PM.Leave a comment:
