Re: Sony XBR-55X900E turns off randomly
What I know from one technician, that first you need to install null firmware on TV, then on top of that you can install whichever version you want. But NULL-able firmware is not accessible for general public....

Unfortunately not.
I wonder when you blow hot air onto the chip, how other componemts are not getting loose and not detaching from the board?...

Re: Sony XBR-55X900E turns off randomly
So, anyone who experienced such behavior on Sony Bravia before?
By the way, what were the symptoms for LG TVs for cold solder joint of main processor?

Re: Sony XBR-55X900E turns off randomly
It's a new TV. Bought in USA shipped to Armenia. So no warranty. So, do you mean the main chip, which is BGA packaged chip, needs to be removed and solder on main board again?...
