I saw the post and it's old, but do you remember what the defect of this machine was? I noticed that you removed an IC from the board, which sector is this IC responsible for? I have a piece of equipment like this and I don't have a schematic for it, and exactly this component is shorted. Can you please inform me? Thanks!...

Thanks for the tip, I had the same problem, I just used version 1.02.03 without modifying the EC and then it was possible to deactivate the adm password and completely resolve the bios password....Leave a comment:

You don't need a resistor, just jump and read it, if you couldn't read it, you can extract the EC from the original file and then just flash the MEC16xx, nothing more than that. After the procedure you will have to write all the machine information such as the serial number of the machine board and a few more things. Some machines can't read the MEC16xx just write, I had this same experience on a T14 thinkpad, I discovered it after 3 weeks of attempts, so I just wrote it I used the same way I described it above and then I was successful.Last edited by 69d0b913; 04-09-2022, 03:03 PM.Leave a comment:
