Hi everybody, maybe this information helps somebody:

I had the same problem with the monitor and the update tool said "firmware up to date" like for many others here.

The solution: the update tool seems to not work on Windows 10! After trying the same thing on a Win XP machine (nothing else changed), the update tool from samsung worked like I hoped and the monitor works again!
