I am very Interested in the out come of this issue as i have the exact same model
Mine after the same amount of time flashing from not on at first to the screen the original poster posted (coloured scrambled) then to solid blue as it is supposed to do. So i played a film on it and as it was playing sometimes it would flicker for like 2 seconds every so often but worked in general i am leaning toward the power supply or the main board but im not sure on anything at this point i see no bad caps or anything burnt was thinking about using the heat...

Thank you diodo49 your suggestion it worked perfectly for the (NO PICTURE HAS SOUND
) I could see on the casing and the inverter board were the connection was bad buy the black spots although this did solve the no video issue I did not reuse any the original screws I seen where they had already had blue locktite on them (either from the original installer or from a previous repair)and only the three that you mention were actually lose (they are to the inside) I used some used screws that had small washers and lock washers already on them...Last edited by Nascar; 05-26-2015, 01:29 AM.Leave a comment:

The Number is #R933 here is a picture of the board and the circled part for location referance

Well jetadm123 from what i can tell you are correct the resistor is connected to a chip
I think your correct in assuming it is a PWM chip the part number is P1337 with the letters PANR under them.
I believe the NCP1337 with the CASE 751U surface mount is a cross with it as far as the manufacturer Having a application circuit or a formula for calculating the resistor value i dont know

Here is a picture with the component circled in yellow the part number of the power supply/inverter board is ADTV81324SA1
need some help Identifying the resistor color bands on R933 of the power supply board on this model ADTV81324SA1 it is burnt beyond recognition.

Hello gubbie i have a Vizio VA26LHDTV10T same as you on my power supply board i have a burnt resitor on R933 could you give me the color code of that resitor it would be greatly appreceated

Thanks for the reply DGtech i havent started the replacement of the caps yet but i will post a message after i have i about caught up to were i can thanks again for the reply

Hello Dgtech i have repaired various modles of dell and gateway lcd monitors with bad caps and have alot of exsperiance with electronics desodering and sodering could you please name the caps you did replace as so me or someone else wont have to replace all th caps on this model
My proublem is that the menue will apear channel and wat not for a split second and then dissapear i am assuming it is the caps on this one also but like i said dont want to have to replace them all thanks in advance
