Need help with LA-D704P Rev 4.0
LA-D704P rev 4.0 stuck 206mA and goes off. All voltages are coming and then goes off. Also flashed new bios rom, no luck. After some reading signals and voltages found PCH_SPI_CLK signal (Pin 6 of UC2 BIOS ROM) is only 1.4v and steady DC voltage. I am attaching the schematics with this.... -

UPDATE!
I did once more check up before ordering the components. I found PL1003 has a momentarily output of around 0.680v some times while observing with DSO. So I did checking all the resistors around the PU1402. All were correct. Then just by an intuition flashed bios from [url]https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=72785[/url] this thread, and all went right. Acer Aspire S3 MS2385 MB Part No. - Weebill - HW MB 12265-2 is not responding to power button. Taking 2mA, getting 3.3v, 5v LDO and 1.8v at IT8587E 12 pin. After pressing pwr btn it goes to 3mA, and 3.3v and 5v output at coils, can seen near the IO(Look at the MB image).... -

no response. I am getting LDO voltages 3.3v and 5v correctly. After pressing 3.3v and 5v on coils (look at the MB image, I am referring 2 coils near the ITE IO) comes and goes off.Leave a comment:
