Yes backlights come on when i remove the small cable fron tcon to power board.. but here is another problem.. i cant turn on or off the tv doing this steps... yes i try first just replacing the tcon and had the same problem.. so thats when i decided to get a new main board and still the sameLeave a comment:

I have a samsung tv un48js8500 that when i plug it to the power outlet o get a black screen but the standby light blinks 6 times.. I switched the tcon and main boards and still have the same issue. If i disconnect the main board from the power board i get nothing but the clicking on the power board.. if i disconect the tcon from the power board i get backlights on and standby light blinks.. anyy helpp -

I checked the backlight with a backlight led tester and they all turn on .. voltage for all of them was 77.6.
I dont have any voltage eather when the backlight conbector is plug in to the power supply boardLeave a comment:

I have this tv that is complete dead.. it shows no power at all. No stanby light.. i checked the power supply voltages with the harness connected to the main board and here are the only voltages i get... need help to find out the problem..
