Re: Sharp LC-LE830u PS problem
Yes one at a time. If I apply 3v to PS_on I get all the correct voltages on the main board connector but absolutely nothing in the inverter section. 405 v now on the main caps slowly going back down to 167 (the PS off voltage).

Sharp LC-LE830u PS problem
The TV doe snot tun on even though there is standby voltage. With no PS_voltage applied, the DC voltage across the two main caps reads over 800VDC (405 is normal I think with PS_ON and about 130 without the PS_On). The voltage slowly drops away to zero if you leave the DIM connected. Any idea where to start looking? Thanks for any leads.

Vizio E701i-A3 shutting off
I have a Vizio E701i-A3 that kept shutting itself off after between3 minutes to 3 hours. I thought it was a EEPROM so I replaced the main board and got the same results. So, I replaced the PS and it now works perfectly, has not shut down in a month. I would like to repair the PS if someone can suggest where to start as these intermittent problems can drive one crazy. Thanks

DPS-162kp and DPS-168jp
I have two Sharp PS boards pulled from non-working TVs. I got a replacement board for one of the TVs and it works fine. When replaced with either of these boards the TV does not work. I would like to fix them and recoup some of the cost of the replacement board.
All of the voltages up to the LED output seem fine. 170 volts on the main caps in standby, 5v standby, and when 2.8 volts are applied to panel on and ps on I get the 12v and 13 volts out to the main board. The voltage on the main caps rises to 407 volts on both the 168 and 162.
However, the output on the LED...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
I have a DPS-162kp that puts put only 82 volts to each of the four LED outputs. The PS not drive the two strips of 68 LEDS. Standby is present on pin 15 of PD and 13v is present on Q7120. I am under the impression that LEDS need 100vdc to drive the LEDS. Any help? Thanks
