Re: I hate a PSU because it is industrial/server and has no bling.
Just becouse they use DFI boards makes them think they are high and mighty, what makes them anybetter then me,except for the fact they require more amps just to turn their rigs on,that is suppose to impress me how? ...
Re: I hate a PSU because it is industrial/server and has no bling.
Thier just pissed becouse when your Super-Micro is still pumping the juice 3-4 years later and their OZC's and Enermax's are on their 2nd and 3rd rma's,they will be wondering if their PCIE and SATA plugs and the bling factor will really be worth it!Just go to show all that glitters is not of gold, and one man's junk is another man's treasure! I myself would give my left nut for a Zippy or a Super-Micro! ...

For one,he didnt replace the Antec,A shop called Bad Boys computers did,and did not even give the poor sap the warranty papers! The kid knows no better I really cant stand some of these so called "repair shops"!...
Ive had a few Tagan's myself, but Ive never used the Nanopoint, and Ive never had to replace one either. What really gets me is their claim to fame of having "The world's most powerful PSU"This is from their own mouth. They have a 1100 watt PSU with 4-12v rails at 20 amps each for 259$Whats wrong with this picture? I would love to see a shoot out between PC P&C 1100W and the Enermax Galaxy 1000W VS. the Tagan!Come on JG,lets see it!
I usually have tons of burned up PSU's,but lately,my wife has been bitching about the corpeses laying around the house,so I only have about 3 this week, but there is plenty more where that came from!

This PSU should be easy enough for the Gods of this forum to identiefy! A friend of mine gave me a call about a week ago from a place called Featherlite that builds custom coaches. He then told me that their C&C machine was outputting a high pitched beeping sound then would just shut off.About an hour and a half later plus a trip charge I was standing in front of a huge solid aluminumn case that was compleatly enclosed except for the PSU exhaust! 30 5 1/4 20's later,I had the beast opened. No thrills here, just a DOS machine running newer hardware(a.k.a MSI KT-880 Delta,2200XP,MX-400,ect.Turned...
I know this is in the wrong thread, but it has to do with this PSU.This is the motherboard it was running when it started on its rampage, notice the bulgeing caps around the memory, and the one under the agp slot, looks like it started leaking....
