I know this is an old thread but I am having a similar problem. I recently discovered a Seiki LE-55GB2 Television that does the exact same thing. Picture and sound are great, however the TV is not reliable. It will shut down without notice at any given minute, sometimes working hours before shutting down. Blue LED on front stays on the whole time. You have to power the set down, let it rest a few minutes before it will power back up. Other times it will shut down every 10 minutes. Its a great looking set and I really want to keep it going if I can as I found it...
