Need help with troubleshooting tips\ schematics -LG monitor that goes off quickly
Hi all
Does someone has the test points \ schematics for lg eax65543115 ( 22" version, lg led monitor)
Or any ideas how to troubleshoot it?
The screen turns on for like 10 seconds, then goes off ( kinda protection triggered, as it goes off like you've been pressing the power button)
, but the cpu gets hot quickly within those 10 seconds , AND STAYS HOT EVEN WHEN IT'S OFF
I'm suspecting it gets over voltage \ current and triggers some OV \ OC PROTECTION but hopefully it's not too late ( that the chip is broken)

The shipping costs sadly still pretty high, BUT! 🙂
I've just found an OLDER dell PSU ( from the core 2 dou series, probably of optiplex, 755\ 780)
an TNY267, that PSU has some blown caps BUT IT IS TURNS ON 🙂
Do you know \ can check for me please if it's compatible or not?

And just for future understanding and learning what's that TNY279 IC does? Is that the mosfet driver?

I have dell 7010 DT ( SFF) with bad PSU
THERE'S NO 5V standby\ litting LED near the power input ( I'm assuming it's the same circuit? 🙂
I'm neither too professional \ have zero clue in SMPS, I'm somewhere in between, that's where and why I'm need your help please 🙏 🙂
By a kinda quick search here's the conclusions for now ;
the main fuse IS OK ( there's continuity, so I'm guessing that it's not too hard to repair ? 🤔 🙂

and or whats that remove access bite? ive googled it quickly but havent found any info about it is it kind of protection? how to bypass that?
ill flash it and see f itll restore my MB ..[ not sure if its electrical problem(ps + power btn are ok- but it refuses to turn on or bios but i havent much to loosr as i have the programmer as a tv repair hobbyst

ive tried the instant flash v1.50 from asrock and its says the size of the open file doesnt match the chip capacity
in additional- thay arent bin files

Yesterday, probably by Windows update, the above RUDE! laptop decides to update the bios on his own WITHOUT ASKING ME \ LET ME CONFIRM it!
unfortunately, while he's erased the older version, I've had a power outage 😢😢
The laptop is died now, no fan\ hdd\ dvd spinning, obviously, no display too,
I've tried to download the bios file from asus and flash it with my Rt809f programmer that I have, with no luck,... -

There are few listings on eBay for 10-12 usd per 10pcs of the MOSFET ic. I'll probably try my luck with them... ( as long as it's not sounds to you like 100% fake)
They have full 8 pins on the pictures mine's 7 pin is not present at all( theres no copper\ metal there at all
And there are few listings of the MOSFET MDF11N65B for about 15usd per 10pcs includes shipping..
On the Mosfet pictures the magnachip logo doesn't present \ visible... So i think its untrusted seller? Or should I give him a chance?...Leave a comment:

I know and you right, it's worth me alot that's why I've so badly want to repair it, and even invest more than a working psu on eBay, just on replacement components, but it's not that about the money, I will happily extend my budget on it, but the main thing is IT'S OUT OF STOCK AND IDK WHERE TO FIND it, even not original IC, just a safe working one( or more correctly, about 10 pcs lot SO I'll have spares.....)
It's not available on digikey etc...

I do want to replace that IC, but not at a cost of a half new 32 TV here, on the other hand, i like this tv
So I'LL do buy spares, I've thught of excacly the chance that they'll blow up again, but i cant find a reliable seller. I've found a "good + reasonable " price on eBay for 10 ic+ 10 Mosfets( just in case that somehow it'll blow again soon)
