Re: Vizio E471VLE No Power
Yeah I kinda figured that. I’m looking for both boards now.

Re: Vizio E471VLE No Power
I said previously that I have zero voltage on any of the 13 pins on power board, I actually have between 5-7 volts as soon as I touch 1-3. It quickly drops to .135v and stays steady. This happens whether the cable from power board to main is connected or not.

Re: Vizio E471VLE No Power
Well replaced the eeprom with no luck. Eeprom came from shopjimmy.com. I now have no voltage on 1-12 on the power board.

Re: Vizio E471VLE No Power
That's what I was thinking. Is there anything else I can test to verify failure at this point or go with an eeprom?...

Re: Vizio E471VLE No Power
Sorry for bringing up and old thread I have the same set with exact same issue as the OP. I have 5.2 v on 1-3 @ cn201, the rest of the pins nothing. Fuses test good and 60 volts on both sides of f100, cx101 & cx102. Purchased a replacement board from shopjimmy based on diagnosis followed here and exact same issue. So either I got a bad board having same issue or I would assume it is my main board that was the failure.
I did the jumper test discussed above and all backlights come on.
L220 has almost 16 volts(15.86 to be...

LG 50PN6500 no power
I was asked to take a look at this tv by a friend because it just stopped coming on, all of the sudden. It is a 50PN6500. Once I got the back off I did notice there is an hdmi port that came off the board. I saw another post where same issue but he had a resistor that came off. This boards resistor is still there and appears just hdmi port affected. The owner said it continued to work long after the port was knocked loose. When power applied to set the red light on the front comes on but buttons and remote do nothing.
Power board number is EAY62812601 - EAX64906001 REV:1.2

Re: Vizio P502UI-B1E No Picture Flashing Standby Light
Ok I get 5 volts on cn805, r8220.
Cn806 1-4 I get 24 V
I'll check cn206 later I quickly ran my lead over the contacts on the board and never saw 12 volts. May have been going to quickly to leave for work tonoutrun a storm.
Thank you again...

Re: Vizio P502UI-B1E No Picture Flashing Standby Light
Ok so I currently have a amazon fire stick connected and turning the tv on with remote or power button doesn’t change a thing. I have tried all hdmi inputs and nothing on the screen at all. I’m using a flashlight again during power on cycle and I do not get any images on the screen. The status light comes on and fades away. EDIT: and no flashes from backlight at all, red light comes on in the optical port.
On cn701 pin 13/14 are both empty cavities on the main board connector.

Re: Vizio P502UI-B1E No Picture Flashing Standby Light
IndicAted this because I've seen many posts leaning towards backlight/eeprom issues and I just wanted to let everyone helping know that i did check for an image with a flashlight and there is not one.
I am at work now and will check the inputs tonight when I get home....

Re: Vizio P502UI-B1E No Picture Flashing Standby Light
Thank you again for the help, greatly appreciated.
Yes PS_ON is a white wire and yes those readings are correct.
On c9201/c9203 on the 24V pins they all do get 24V when power is on to the power supply.
Ok so on pin 1 of ic9103 when set is turned off I get 250mV and when turned on I get 1.13V. That is all....

Re: Vizio P502UI-B1E No Picture Flashing Standby Light
I do not have a cn9101/3 connector on the power board. I do have cn9201/cn9203 that has 14 pins. (1st pic below)
Cn9101/cn9102 has 16 pins and has PS_ON and when the set is powered on it has 2.87V. Standing by it gets 80.8mV until power button is pressed when it gets 2.87V....

Re: Vizio P502UI-B1E No Picture Flashing Standby Light
Cn9202 is the 14 pin single row connector pictured with only 4 wires (2 peach/2brown). Brown is ground and peach is +24VA
I assume you meant cn9101/cn9102 which does have 6 terminals labeled as 12v. Only 4 of them have a wire in them. The two without are the +12VA. All four of them do have 12v.
FB703 does have 12 volts on both sides of it. So if it uses 12v for standby then maybe I do have a bad eeprom, though I read bad stuff about the main boards on these TV's all the time.

Re: Vizio P502UI-B1E No Picture Flashing Standby Light
Yes I matched the information exactly to the one I purchased. I got it on eBay from Mtronix. Here is a link https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F163209003570
It matches exactly with the board I have. Of course there is always the possibility that the eeprom installed is no good. It wouldn't be the first time I've had that happen to me....
