THe picture of the back of the board shows a dark spot at some solder joints. The soldered component isn't an amp, it is a MR5060.

These pictures should be clearer. On the back side of the board, there is a dark spot at a solder joint. The component is an amp, mounted to a heat sink. can't see the part number of the amp. THe power supply number is USP440M-42LP...

Intermittant power on - 42" Viore plasma
I have a 42" Viore Plasma (PDP42V18HA), 4 years old. When I hit the power switch, I hear the power supply clicks, the screen gets slightly brighter but it does not turn on, the LED goes green. Then it either turns off immediately or After about 4 minutes it turns off (LED out). I unplug it and try again. After a 2-3 cycles of this, and waiting the 4 minutes, it will power on and work perfectly fine. I took the back off and looked at the power supply, didn't see anything obvious. I looked at all the other visible boards, nothing obvious. I was tempted to replace the power supply but wasn't...
