Still in search for a good tcon

Does anyone know if the ZA or ZH matters at the end of the board part number? Shopjimmy.com says no, they are the same....

So I ordered a replacement T-con board from shop jimmy and with their "new" t-con I get no picture at all. When I put my t-con back in and it works but I am back to the strange dark colors and shadows.

ShopJimmy says they test all of them and there is no way they sent a bad one, and that my panel must be bad....

Where is a good source to get a t-con board for this thing that will for sure be in working order? We love this thing and are so happy we were able to fix it removing the left side...

Interesting. I'll see if my better half can live with it, otherwise I'll try and source a main board. Is it a guaranteed fix?

So, we having been using this MONSTER in place of our old 55 and so far we love it! Except for one thing....

The color and picture on this TV is fantastic, but the blacks and very dark colors are...odd. The blacks (when they cover large portions of the screen) almost look pixelated? It almost looks like its something not in HD when there are a lot of dark scenes.

This is the best example I could find online. Does this make sense to anyone?...

Recycled to me by a customer that was told it was not repairable!

    Left side driver failure here!

I am blown away that I was able to fix this thing!!! What is the estimated life of these after repair? Ill be pulling my 55" down and hanging this 70" tonight
