So, where to start. I have DELL INSPIRON 5558, with motherboard AAL10 la-b843p. Maybe a month or so ago, BIOS started reporting that my AC Adapter is not recognized. I had to tilt it a little to get BIOS to recognize it. I did not want to fry my MB so at that time I have disassembled my laptop and tested my MB where power is plugged in and power supply, I checked for voltages and sure only 19.8V comes to the MB when the charger is plugged in. At the time my battery was bad so I figured out to order a new one. But in the meantime, I could not power up my laptop only on battery,...
