Re: Asus X751LD no Power
Yes, you are right... The resistor need to be replaced. I measured 2 kohms not 10 ohms.
I also tested gate-drain and gate-source on both Mosfets... I´m not sure about the second one... I will replace it as soon as possible and post the results here.
Thanks first for the quick reply

Asus X751LD no Power
I have no Power no LED´s
There are 19V before first fet but no voltage (swapping between 100mV and 200mV) on Gate.
Checked the two dc-in fets with multimeter from Drain to Source and it seems all ok.
But the fet on the second picture has 30 Kohms in one way and 250 kohms in the other... Is this one shorted?
How can I check the capacitor marked in picture?
On bq24735 I have 18V? on VCC, 6V on REGN and 2.6V on ACDET.
Got 0.4 V on several pins for battery?
Or is it some other problem?...

Re: Motherboard schematics archive?
Can someone send me boardview and shematics for Asus X751LD?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Asus X751LD no power, fixed by replacing bad DC-in MOSFET
Hello Aldebaralph, were you able to detect the Mosfet piernov was talking about??
I have the same problem.
19 V on the input plug and only 0.4 V on the charging plug but 2.4 or 2.8 Volts on ACDET...
I´m not sure which one is the "second" DC-in Mosfet

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello everyone, I´m from Germany and had my first experiences with an Atari 800XL in 1984 and from the beginning I did small modifications (e.g. switch to bypass the Basic on boot...).
Now the circuits are a little bit more complex and my knowledge is not growing as fast as the technologies... so I hope I can find sometimes help here...
